Check Your Internet Connection
The first thing to check is to see if you can connect to the internet. Open up your internet browser and try to search for something. If you get results, then move on to the next step.
Wirecast Output Settings Could Be Wrong
For a stream to connect, you must use the template we created for you on the desktop. If the template is named Untitled 1 or something different from what we made, then none of the stream settings will be entered correctly, and you will not be able to connect your stream.

This is the error you will see (Cannot connect to the RTMP/Flash server at the given IP address) when you hit the stream button and you aren't able to connect or go live.
Network Ports
Please contact your network administrator at your school to check that the following ports are open for traffic on your network:
80 (HTTP/HTTPS),
1935 (RTMP),
2935 (RTMPS),
7272 (Remote Desktop Presenter),
If you are behind a firewall, check to ensure that dacast.com, limelight.com, and striv.tv are whitelisted.
