My Scoreboard Isn't Working

Here are some fixes if you can't select an event or sport in your scoreboard or if some features aren't working.

Clear Your Cache

The first thing to try when experiencing issues with the Striv Scoreboard is to clear the cache on your browser. This can be done under the Settings menu in your browser. For Chrome, it is under 'Privacy and Security.' Select "Clear Browsing Data" and  "All Time," then make sure that 'Cached Images and files' and 'Cookies and Other Data' are selected. Then go and open the scoreboard again, and it should work.

Opening Network Port 8041

If you have cleared your cache and your scoreboard is still giving you errors and not loading, check to see if port 8041 is open on your network. This port communicates data between the scoreboard and the remote control scoreboard app.

Not Seeing Down & Distance or Flag Animation

To get all of the new features the RCS app has to offer, you must be selected on the "Basic" scoreboard. This is the design we currently have to operate with the Down & Distance and the Flag animation.
